Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) has introduced its AI Impact Framework, aimed at quantifying the tangible business outcomes of artificial intelligence. This new system goes beyond merely tracking AI usage, focusing instead on the productivity gains, automation improvements, and reusable capabilities that AI can deliver across teams.
The framework is designed to tackle a common issue faced by organizations investing in AI: differentiating between routine AI-assisted tasks and significant enhancements. Employees are required to submit evidence of AI-enabled work completed over the past six months. This evidence can include production code, custom AI agents, automated testing systems, delivery pipelines, large-scale migrations, internal tools, and reusable systems, while excluding self-reported or hypothetical capabilities.
Employing a multi-agent evaluation process, the framework includes an evaluator to assess submitted evidence, an adversarial agent to challenge unsupported claims, and a referee to make a final scoring decision. Human managers and project leaders then validate the results, with any disputed assessments undergoing further review. Participants are ranked into four AI maturity levels, from limited integration to advanced capabilities in developing and operating AI agents and reusable systems that have a significant organizational impact.
Internally, GAP is utilizing the framework to pinpoint capability gaps and tailor development plans for employees. As of July 2026, the company reported that around 41% of its workforce had achieved Level 3, with approximately 48% reaching Level 2. The framework aims to establish measurable baselines, identify development needs, and guide organizations toward more autonomous and effective AI utilization.
